DESCRIPTION
Individual in this position would provide support to our audiology staff, with increasing autonomy and direct patient contact under the supervision of an audiologist to provide services to our patients in Northampton and students and schools throughout Massachusetts. Some travel will be required. Activities may include:
● Assist in the testing of infants, young children and adults with disabilities
● Provide troubleshooting of hearing aids, HAT equipment, HA accessories, etc.
● Cleaning hearing aids and performing minor repairs of hearing aids and HAT equipment
● Maintain accurate documentation and correspondence in accordance with clinic protocols
● Maintain clinic inventory, ordering and stocking supplies as needed
● Check in hearing aids/FMs from repair and ready them for pick up
● Provide in-services to schools on proper use of equipment
● Provide ongoing support to schools throughout the school year to assist keeping students on the air
● Manage the ordering, repair processing, and paperwork associated with dispensing of items
● With the attainment of a MA Hearing Aid Dealer and Fitter license:
o Orientation and fitting of new hearing aids/ hearing aid accessories for adult clients
o Assist with testing of adult clients for the purposes of obtaining a hearing aid

Qualifications:
● Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Science Disorders; eligible for MA Audiology Assistant License.
